Scavenging Crockery and Glassware

I was wondering what people thought about scavenging crockery and glassware. I thought it might fit with the theme if we were to go and collect cool plates and glasses from vintage shops. To counter balance this I was thinking that we could buy new matching cutlery. What do people think of this idea?

Planters & Planting Containers...

Dear everybody !

What sort of watertight, strong, containers of 300-1000mm width/diameter & 300-700mm depth do you think might make useful planters for the HUB incubator?

Neverfail water flagons would be suited to a larger scale version of the fine self watering system pictured below (but Neverfail flagons are already performing their function)...

It would be wonderful if the material was transparent, but transparency does not seem to be common or perhaps even possible with recycled plastics. UNIMADE in South Australia make large diameter pipe and panels which show the colours of the plastic items from which they were recycled - sounds very colourful!
Does anyone happen to have any plastic welding equipment?

Also, I will be visiting Adalia Park Nursery in Gisbourne this Friday the 1st. If anybody has any favourite plants or special questions for Sean the nurseryman let me know and I will ask him....
Thanks!
Thomas....

Ammon and Michelle,

Is it possible to have a interactive design corner in the incubator that would have a model or plan of the place and lots of little desks and lego people and meeting rooms etc so that people can continue to design as go along???
